This was my very first creation. I made this simple hat in March 2010 for my underwater theme birthday party in Jersey City. It was the first time that I created anything like this. Later that year in August, I wore the outfit to a party named Groove Cruise, a festival on a cruise ship. I remember this being the first time that people had a reaction to my work. Everyone wanted to take pictures with the Jellyfish especially because of the effect it had under the black light. Later in 2016 I updated this look for another underwater theme birthday party and made both my husband and I new matching Jellyfish hats to wear. Though the 2016 version of this outfit was a lot more refined, I will never forget my original creation. This Jellyfish hat would spark something inside of me that I have been exploring for the last 15 years. It paved the way for my amazing creations today. It was the start of me finding my voice in Crafting.
