NEW YEARS EVE HEADDRESS & TOP HAT 2015

MATERIALS: Felt Fabric, Beads, Buttons, Paper Clips, Feathers, Metal Chains, Hot Glue

I made this headdress for a Black and Light themed New Years Eve Party that my husband and I hosted in 2015. This was the first time I introduced lights into my designs. I decorated my husband’s hat with the leftover felt flowers I made for my headdress. I never really know how the headdress will be shaped until I start putting the flowers together, it happens very organically. I made our antlers out of the wire from paper clips and covered the wire with hot glue. In addition I put little battery operated white lights to highlight the antlers. These were super fun to strut around in for this event. They went off really nice under the black light. We got a really nice response from the audience of appreciation and curiosity.
