PRIDE RAINBOW HEADDRESS 2024

MATERIALS: Crafting Foam, Felt Fabric, Rhinestones, Hot Glue, Feathers and Metal Chains

I created this Rainbow Headdress in about a week. On August 24, 2024 I was invited to perform at the Jersey City PRIDE Festival in New Jersey. I knew I wanted to wear something special for that day, something that was befitting of this important day of acceptance and love. This is one of my latest pieces and one of my favorites. I am starting to really find my voice with each piece I create, but this piece really showed me my own abilities as a flower maker and a crafter. By far my most colorful creation! I loved wearing this beautiful headdress to DJ and play music for everyone outdoors. It was such a huge hit with the audience. Everyone was so curious about the origin and I enjoyed telling them about Chile and our many colorful costumes. This was a wonderful day spent celebrating LOVE!
