DISORIENT BOOM BOAT PARTY OUTFITS 2011

MATERIALS: Feathers, Shoelaces, LED Lights, Glow in the dark stars, Faux leather, Faux Fur, Hot Glue.

This was one of the first outfits I created and styled for my husband Chelo and I. Back in 2011 I wasn’t documenting the making of the pieces the way I do now. These outfits were made for a performance we had at Disorient’s Boom Boat Party in New York. Back then I was not yet making my own flowers and was relying on store bought items to decorate my costumes. I made my husband’s vest and the flowy, bell bottom pieces we wore on our feet. This was one of the first performances we were ever invited to do. We had so much fun in our outfits that night!
